I really really need to organise Connor’s birthday party. He’s turning 2 on the 16th and I haven’t even figured out what theme to make his party, let alone what to do for it.
I’m thinking simple… at home… swimming… not even a jumping castle (because it went to waste last year). Boerie rolls for lunch again. Not many sweets.
Just the theme… I can’t decide… Barney or spiderman (surprisingly he likes spiderman) or farm animals. I was going to organise a touch and feed farm thing at home, but I can’t really afford it at the moment.
What do you think the theme should be?
I’d better design the invitations this weekend actually, I’m cutting this a bit fine!

Aliens!! Squidge loves planets- we have those glow-in-the-dark planets up in her room so I’m planning on a space/alien theme for her birthday. Now lets just hope she’s still into planets in June!

Was going to suggest the farm animals….
My sister recently had a cars party, but each kid was asked to bring there own bike….they entertained themselves for hours…she made traffic lights, and yield signs etc to decorate. It turned out great, especially because each kid brought along their own ‘entertainment’

I have now files Hayley’s traffic/bike party away in my brain for when Jackson is a bit older and can actually ride a bike.
I, personally, like mis-matched themes for birthday parties. And then everyone thinks that they are unique!
