So not into that

A colleague was talking about his plans for the evening, and mentioned that a friend of his had got him tickets to see some musician… and that the show starts at 11pm.

I couldn’t imagine anything worse, than milling around waiting for this dude to start playing at that godforsaken hour. Yes, I do work on my editing until that time… but that sounds like such an aimless wait!

I’m so past that! I might be a fuddy duddy because of that, but you know what, I’m ok with that!

Ugh, I totally agree. In fact, as we speak I am sitting in bed in my PJ’s with the laptop. Bliss.

I’d take a nap at home first and then go out for an evening of fun like that. But then, I’ve always needed my sleep

I remember in my clubbing days, we used to go to “The Res” in hillbrow and it only opened at 12pm. We used to sleep until 10pm and then get up and start getting ready. Get home at 7am and sleep the whole day – there were times that I never saw week-end sunshine.

and today I think back and I cannot for the life of me remember why LOL!!

I wouldn’t mind if there were decent bands to watch before the main act… but I must admit to feeling a bit put off by timing like that.
