I think I need a new toy.
This time, I think I need a video camera. I don’t want a big one. I want one that I can easily post stuff on the web with. It has to be funky. It has to be small and compact. Something like this one…
It has to be better than the crappy video camera on my Blackberry that’s a mission and a half to get the videos off. I took this video of Connor last week, thought he was cute and wanted to share him… and only managed to get the video off today… and post it today… I know it’s slack!! And it’s crap quality… but hell, he’s still cute!
PS. It’s my birthday next month

We have a Sanyo Xacti – it is about the size of 2 cellphones stuck together back to back and lives in my handbag. And best of all, it records onto a SD card and I just pop in into my laptop!

Getting a video camera is so worth it. Every now and again I sit back and have hours of fun with the kids while they watch themselves get up to no good.

I have a Sony HDD one – about the size that fits in your hand (round). It’s brilliant! Do not think of any other brand if you look at HD video cameras and certainly not JVC. We struggled for days to download stuff and create movies. Sony’s interface and editing is great.
So when are you doing the meme? I would love to see pics of you and I know someone tagged you.

Have you looked at the flip video cameras? They do an hd one now and they are very popular with the video bloggers and the YouTube crowd.
