Reading afrikaans 222/365

Bradley got his first Afrikaans book to read for homework this week… think Lance slightly regrets that we didn’t bring the boys up bi-lingual :)  He took great pains in the first few pages to explain pronunciations… and then translated the whole book for him too ;)

It won’t be long before Bradley can understand the whole dinner table conversation when we visit Lance’s mom in Parys :)

    There is defientely value in builingual upbringings. A is in grade 2 now, they are starting letterland now so the first steps in English. However, she read her frist Dr Seus in English in December so she is breezing through this – actually she told her teacher this work is silly!
