After a freezing and rainy morning walking around the Knysna harbour one day, we walked through the town looking for a nice coffee shop, and as we walked past Cafe Throbb we all decided that was a great place to stop.
Most of us had a light lunch while we were in the cafe, all of us loved it.
The cafe serves Truth coffee… and we had flat whites… well they were amazing, as coffee goes 😉 I ordered far too many!
The boys ranked the chocolate milkshakes and hot chocolate really highly on their list of good ones… and after tasting the milkshakes, I completely agree. They were so very creamy!
The older boys shared a croque monsieur (they weren’t all that hungry after scoffing slap chips at the harbour), and both loved it.
I ordered the Magic Mushroom stack… it was a stack of mushrooms with sun-dried tomatoes, cheese, spinach etc etc… so very yummy and completely guilt-free because it was all veggie 🙂
It was a most amazing lunch! I’m so glad we decided to stop there… partly because it was surrounded by gorgeous looking shops that we all wanted to wander through afterwards. And we did, and we spent money there too!
In fact, we loved it so much, that I brought the boys back here on the last day for breakfast… and that was equally as nice. You have to try the “Connor’s Crumpets”… Bradley had that and it was divine. It’s crumpets piled with bacon and strawberries, marscapone and syrup! So yum!
Disclaimer: I was not asked to review the cafe, I just really enjoyed it so need to share.
