So you know that a new engagement ring is on my bucket list… yes… strange but true. It’s because we never can really justify spending that kind of money on a ring… there are always more important things to spend our money on.
And yes, I did have a ring… I still have it as a matter of fact. But I don’t like it anymore, and it hasn’t fitted me since I was pregnant with Bradley. So I’ve just been wearing my wedding ring since then… and it’s been getting tighter and tighter.
In fact, last week, I couldn’t get it off my finger! And it was hurting me.
So, I got a bee in my bonnet… and only I can 😉
Today, I needed to collect a photobook from my supplier in Mandela Square, and popped into Browns while I was there.
I made a beeline for their bands. I was going to get a gold band again, but I wanted something with some detail. Instead, I decided to try on a few eternity rings. I’ve always LOVED eternity rings… and it makes sense, considering we’ve been married for 15 years.
And I bought one. It’s a 18ct white gold band with .21ct of diamonds set in the band. It’s also 2 sizes bigger than the ring I was wearing when I walked in there!!!
I was so impressed. I LOVE dealing with Browns.
I also love that because I now have a client number, I can log into their system, and get a revaluation of my ring at any stage for insurance purposes, without having to go into a store (it’s based on the item code on my invoice). Cool hey?!
Anyhoo… this is what I got…
Of course, I would just LOVE that protea ring they have on their website… it would go so very nicely with my ring 😉
A girl can dream right? 🙂
Now the question is… should I tick that off my bucket list? Think I’ll leave it there
I also got an eternity ring from Browns, looks very much like yours. I got it for my 32 birthday and the 18ct yellow cold band had 32 diamonds in it. It is beautiful Jenty!
Ones taste does change….although my engagement rings became bigger and more colourful and my wedding band simpler and this is the only one I have that has diamonds in it 🙂
New ring looks gorgeous, lucky girl.
Dainty and beautiful!!!
It is lovely! Yay for getting a pretty new sparkly!
Yay! Very pretty! 🙂
Oh that is the eternity ring I am dreaming of to add to my set. I still love my engagement ring – it is so simple, nothing not to love. But I think this will be way prettier than my wedding bands .Or as an addition
