This morning started really cloudy, but we took a chance and went to the beach anyway… and it was a PERFECT morning!! Hardly any wind with beautiful sunshine… and we had a ball in the waves.
Connor got brave enough to swim in the waves without help today, unless it was a really big wave. Β And he did so well!! Well, until they decided to swim in the tidal pool, and he tried to climb out against a wall covered in shells… and tore his feet to shreds! Thankfully an ice-cream was just the medicine that his foot required though, and he was happy to get back in the sand after that π
We left at lunchtime, and spent the afternoon playing on the completely empty Shelly Beach again… and then had the most horrendous meal at Spur to end the day (although the manager did try to rectify it)
Oh, now I really miss the South Coast. And look after that foot- shell cuts can getbseptic really quickly. Makw sure ro put some baxteoban or something on
Oops, ipad typing – that was bactroban

Second photo is typically Connor π Well done big boy for being so brave in the waves xxx

Shame, poor boy for getting his foot cut open π Hope you put on something on the wound.
One of mine and Damien’s best holidays was at St Michaels… He even rescued a banded cat shark out of the tidal pool and put her back in the sea!
