We’re in Shelly Beach on the KZN South Coast on holiday, and you know me… I cannot NOT blog 😉 so I’ll be blogging as we go along.  This holiday is all about the kids and all about the sea and all about recharging batteries.
Today, wasn’t a great beach day. Â In fact, the wind was so very strong and by this afternoon, when I took the photos, the wind was whipping up the sand so much that Connor was really upset about the stinging on his legs. Â So I didn’t use my camera on St Michaels beach this morning where we were swimming, Â but I did take it out this afternoon when they were playing on the empty beach close to our apartment.
In fact, this emptiness of the beaches on the South Coast is why we chose to come here on holiday this time, instead of Ballito where we went last year.
Its gorgeous down there this time of year! Enjoy and hopefully tomorrow you’ll have wind-free weather.
I’m trying to think of something nice to say but I just can’t. I’m too jealous 🙂
We have always had wonderful weather at the south coast this time of the year – but all round the weather has been rather weird this year – winter came early. I will be down their in June this year- first time ever in winter. Wondering how it will be
Ah lovely – even with the wind !
Enjoy the time with the children, relax and re-charge your batteries.
Enjoy the vacation.
I think my knucklehead and I may have rented a cottage on that same beach one year! 😀 It was wonderfully peaceful.
