Bradley had to make musical instrument out of recyclable materials at school today, so Lance and him spent quite some time last night planning what he had to do today. Brad then came home today and said that there were only a few of the kids that made the instruments from scratch in class, and his took longer than everyone else’s. Hmmm, that’s not fair really… you would have thought that method was part of the criteria, and not just the finished article.
How much help do you give your kids with school projects? He was gung-ho about doing this without any help, and in the end he did need help because it needed planning and it would not have worked without a little practise the night before.
If you’re wondering, his guitar is made out of a shoe box, PVC piping, elastic bands, dowel sticks and duct tape.
