The theme for the week on MyFourHens Photography’s 52 Project: Part of Me
My eyes at the end of a day.
My word, it was tough to decide what to take a photo of for this week’s theme.
My eye colour is one thing that I’ve passed onto both my kids, and it’s my favourite part of my face. It’s also what enables me to do my photography and tell stories which gives me so much joy.
Also very evident in the photo are the bags under my eyes, the wrinkles and the flaky skin from the Roaccutane which I’m using to finally try and fix the acne that I’ve been plagued with for decades.
I see the imperfections.
If you’re wondering, I took this with 100mm macro lens by myself, holding the camera in front of me. Connor was watching to guide the framing ‘cos I couldn’t see what I was doing.
Beautiful photo and beautiful eyes! 🙂
Definitely agree. My fav photo of you is one I took of your eyes while we were sitting on RMB’s wall during the 2010 world cup parade down Rivonia road.
Beautiful! Eyes tell us the story of our lives. We should cherish the years of what we have seen and hope for many more. Maybe with spectacles😀
You do have gorgeous eyes!
I just see those beautiful eyes and none of your imagined imperfections
Gorgeous eyes! And yay for the Roaccutane! Do you feel like it’s making a difference?
So far it’s just drying my skin out, and I’ve got another breakout so now I’m on cortisone too. I’ve only been using it for 3 weeks… my lips are already taking a beating.
