The kids had walked to the beach on their own. They had been building sandcastles again.
Then I got a phonecall from Bradley to tell me to come… and to bring towels.
It was a huge struggle to get Connor and Katherine out the water!
The older kids walked back home too, it wasn’t cool getting driven home 😉 the littler ones, who were covered in sand, were bundled into the back of Nick’s car and driven home for a hot bath and warm jarmies.
Holidays with friends are the best!
They really did have a ball! I love the little bit of independence they have down there!
Eish! It’s enough to undo all the progress I’ve made with regard to ever going in, just looking at how cold they look in those pics!
We’ve started allowing our two older kids to go to the “local” beach when we’re on holiday in Tergniet and they love being able to do something on their own. Here at home, they hardly get to walk anywhere and certainly not without an adult…
I didn’t even put my toe in the water… it was cold enough walking on the beach!
Absolutely beautiful photographs !!!!! Love them !! Spoilt for choice when it comes to next years calendar 😉
I’ve hardly got any photos of Erin this year… I’ll have to make a plan
I spent my summer holidays with my grandparents in the area and Sedgefield was my favourite beach 🙂
Oh I need a good holiday with friends to just relax
Love the lighting and the sky in these pictures.
