The day before the big race, we went for a bit of a drive… and ended up in Hout Bay and visited the Bay Harbour Market.

I do love visiting the various harbours around Cape Town, and Hout Bay is just so beautiful!

After wandering around the fishing boats, we walked past Snoekies (which sells the most amazing fish), across the road into the relatively new Bay Harbour Market.

The market is housed in an old fish factory, and is crammed with the most gorgeous clothing, jewellery, collectables and food. I must admit, that the first bit of it was uninspiring, and I’m glad we stuck it out and walked around the first corner. It’s an incredible market! I could have spent a fortune there.

If you like Kamersvol, you’d recognise this jewellery sign… oh I was tempted!

I loved these dresses with maps on them!

We loved it. We loved the vibe and goodies and the whole thing! It’s definitely a place to visit.

I’ve spotted on their website that they’re open on Friday evenings for an evening market. That would be so cool, to get awesome food and sit around chatting to friends in the market. Wish we could have stayed in Cape Town for longer.
